Overview
Before anything went live, Harrpy needed an identity. Harrpy is a swipe-based collaboration platform designed to connect creators and brands (harrpy.com). The product is still in early development, but the vision was clear: build a mobile application that helps creators and brands connect fast, clean, and confident.
Axaana was brought in at the very beginning to develop the full visual identity. The goal was to establish a brand presence strong enough to anchor everything that would follow, from pitch decks and social assets to the website and onboarding flow. The identity had to reflect movement, trust, and clarity. All without overdesigning or relying on loud visuals.
Problems
Harrpy had no visual identity system before working with us. There were rough sketches of the concept, but nothing formalized.
The key issues were:
• No brandmark, no logotype, and no guidance for how the platform should visually communicate
• A need for strong differentiation from crowded creator platforms and talent marketplaces
• The brand needed to feel both calm and confident, avoiding loud colors or chaotic styling
• It had to work on tiny app screens, large banners, and everything in between
This identity needed to speak to two very different audiences—creators and brands—while still feeling cohesive and clear.
Solutions
We started with a symbol. The logomark is a blend of sun and sky, referencing warmth, clarity, and human connection. Its intersecting circles suggest harmony and collaboration—two forces meeting in a shared space.
The color palette is soft but high-contrast, designed to stand out without shouting. The use of gradients evokes motion and depth while remaining minimalist.
What we delivered:
• A versatile logomark and logotype pairing
• A gradient-based primary color system with calming orange and blue tones
• Typography recommendations for both brand and product UI
• Usage guidelines for in-app branding, icons, profile badges, and print
• Favicon, splash screen, and branded social templates
The result is a design system that’s both timeless and tailored, adaptable to content, product, and marketing needs as Harrpy scales.
Results
• Visual consistency across all brand touchpoints improved perceived credibility
• Logo use in social and marketing helped the platform feel immediately professional
• The logomark was adapted into UI micro-elements like loading animations and match indicators
• The gradient and symbol became key differentiators on app stores and digital ads
Harrpy’s visual identity now anchors the entire product and community, making it not just recognizable, but memorable.
